Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
